Peace To You

This Easter we will ponder God's gift of peace.  It is clear that we need a tranquil heart in a troubled world.  And the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus provides for such peace...even in the midst of fear and difficulty.  Interestingly, one of the most common responses to the appearances of Jesus after His rose again was fear!  But Jesus said, "Peace to you!"

On Easter Sunday we will consider "Peace Proclaimed".  The following weeks we will continue to consider how Easter secures peace for followers of Jesus - April 24, "Peace Purchased" - April 24, "Peace Pursued".  To aid your reflection, be sure to get your copy of the booklet "Peace To You".
