This past Sunday was a Day of Prayer for our congregation.  Thank you so much to everyone who participated in this opportunity to seek God.  The plan was simple.  We prayed at home in one hour shifts starting at 8 am.  Then, from 7 pm to 8 pm our Day of Prayer concluded with a Zoom gathering.  We shared and prayed around the themes of adoration, contemplation, intercession, spiritual warfare, and thanksgiving.  What was especially cool was when we shared our thoughts about the spiritual battle in which we are engaged.  The comments about the battle just gave way to reminders of hope, encouragement, and victory!  Why?  Well, as Psalm 115:1 reminds us, we serve a loving and faithful God.  He hears.  He answers!  So...not to us goes the glory...none at all.  God alone is worthy of all the glory and praise!
