Mission Trip

We are excited to annouce a Mission Trip to Colombia in March 2025.  In partnership with Seeds of Love and Hope International Society, Cornerstone is sending an intergenerational team to serve at the SOLAHIS children's center in Medellin.

If you are interested in this project, you can fill out an application.  After an interview and acceptance there will be a waiver and code of conduct form to complete.  The team will meet for four training sessions prior to the trip.  Team members will also be asked to participate in a reflection meeting in Colombia and also a debrief meeting after returning.

The overall cost of this project will be based on $500 per person plus airfare.  This will include transportation, meals, and accommodation.  Fundraising for this project will be done through Cornerstone Neighbourhood Church.  Each participant must be 15 years old, unless a parent/guardian is also on the trip.

The goal is to have the trip take place March 13 to 25 - exact dates yet to be determined by flight availability.  If you have questions, please email Shane or Manuela Murphy who will be leading the trip.  The deadline for applications is September 15 when we will have the first info/team meeting.
