Imagine coming to Cornerstone for the first time. You will have all sorts of questions as you look around at the unique way we do church.

Where do I go? Where should my kids go? How long is the service? Am I welcome here?

You don't necessarily want to keep those questions to yourself. What you need most right then and there is a friendly face to help you out. You need someone who is willing to do good.

To make a church great, you need lots of people doing good. This is what good means: Paul wrote to the Corinthian church,

"To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good." (1 Corinthians 12:7).

Paul told the Corinthians that every disciple of Jesus has been given a gift to do some good with it. What is your gift? Are you doing good with it?

Good could be:

  • Making new people feel welcome with a fantastic first impression
  • Helping people find a seat
  • Leading them in worship
  • Helping services run smoothly with few distractions
  • Helping people experience Jesus in worship
  • Getting front row seats to God changing lives.

We have lots of opportunities for you to do some good with your gifts.

Here are three immediate needs:

  • Greeters
  • Ushers
  • Worship team members

Imagine the people you could start helping. Imagine the good that you could do serving with your gift.
