In the summer of 2026 Rick and Cat made Cornerstone their church home. While serving in spiritual care at the Salvation Army in Maple Ridge, Rick will be involved in the Immerse seminary program, honing his ministries skills as a volunteer staff member at Cornerstone. Rick came to faith later in life and fell in love with Jesus and the Bible. He graduated from Columbia Bible College in 2025. His colleagues describe him as a man of integrity, who is passionate and charismatic. Rick spends most of his time in the Bible, carrying God’s love to those who have experienced hardship, and awaiting the fulfillment of God’s kingdom. Rick’s wife Cat is the heavenly helper God knew Rick needed. Together, they have six children. Rick enjoys meals with family and friends, especially Hot Pot.
