The call to pray without ceasing comes from I Thessalonians 5:17.  This is an invitation from God to be in an ongoing, moment-by-moment conversation with Him.  To be sure, there will be times when we make audibe a speicific prayer, often in the company of other believers.  But more often we will be going through our day, not necesisarly saying a prayer yet engaged in consciousness communion with our Heavenly Father.  What an amazing privilege is ours that we can have 24/7 access to God!

God has been stirring the hearts of a number believers to increase prayer for the Ridge Meadows region.  Each Tuesday a group gathers at Maple Towers to pray for God to pour His power and love through our churches out into our communities.  You can be part of this exciting venture.

Pray Ridge-Meadows has three main goals:

GATHER a minimum of two intercessors from each active church and ministry in the Ridge-Meadows area to participate in Pray Ridge-Meadows.

PRAY for the church and those living in our city that God’s Kingdom would come in greater fullness and the Lordship of Christ would cause every person and family to thrive.

MOBILIZE all the Body of Christ in Ridge-Meadows to persevering intercession, covering every church, every city block and every hour of the day in prayer.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.  Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.
