Pray For Your Town
Pray Ridge Meadows is a community wide prayer initiative. You can participate at several on-site prayer locations this September.
On Tuesday, Sept 15, from 3 - 4:30 pm we will meet near the RCMP offices (by “the beast”) to pray for police in our community. We are also going to have an tangible expression of appreciate to drop off at the RCMP office to let them know that we are praying for them!
On Tuesday, Sept 22, from 3 - 4:30 pm we will meet near the Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News (22611 Dewdney Trunk Rd). The paper influences many community attitudes and narratives, as do larger media outlets. In some towns local Christian leaders are able to contribute brief articles in a regular column. This is not happening currently but let’s pray for our local media.
On Tuesday, Sept 29, from 3 - 4:30 pm we will pray near the facility built to house the homeless from Anita Place and/or outside the Salvation Army. We will plan to meet in the Maple Ridge Baptist Church parking lot and go from there.
