Ball Hockey Wrap Up

Thank you to everyone who helped with Community Ball Hockey!  Over 40 children registered to play with us this summer.  It was amazing to see the attentiveness to the Gospel talks.  Great questions were asked.  On August 28, we had a pizza supper and closing games, with prizes for each player. When asked to join in the sinner's prayer, we had six people confess their belief and desire to follow Jesus. What an amazing result! However, it does not end there... as mentioned above, over 40 children played ball hockey with us over the course of the summer and that means that over 40 children and parents heard the gospel message. We were able to build into our community of Albion this summer and we were able to plant gospel seeds in the lives of those who joined us.  

As we move forward from this summer please be in prayer for all of the children and their families that were able to join us this summer. Pray for those six individuals that accepted Christ and that their faith would grow daily. Also pray that every kid would have the courage to get plugged into a youth group whether it be here at Cornerstone or at another church in Maple Ridge. Pray that the seeds planted this summer would be watered and that new life in Christ would result!
