Who are we?

Cornerstone Neighbourhood Church is a gathering of people in the East Maple Ridge area.  We come together to worship Jesus each Sunday.  We want to ensure that your time with us is as meaningful as possible.  Please feel free to contact us if you do not find the information you are looking for, or if you would like to talk to someone in person.

How do I get there?

During COVID-19 Cornerstone offers an online service.  You can access these on the sermons page or at our YouTube channel.  Currently we are also meeting in person at Maple Woods gym (9975 272nd Street, Maple Ridge).  Please RSVP if you wish to worship with us as we need to ensure we are under the 50 person cap on gatherings.

What happens when I arrive?

As you arrive at Cornerstone, one or two people from the church will be available to greet you as you come in and will help you to find where to go.  Typically you would receive a bulletin with information on the day’s message and the latest news from around the church. From there, come on in, grab a tea or coffee if you wish, and find a seat.

What are the services like?

Expect a welcoming, informal atmosphere. We open with a few songs of worship and have some time for prayer. Then the children are dismissed to Cornerstone Kids, and our pastor will share a message that applies wisdom from the Bible to everyday life. To finish, we usually sing a couple more songs.  After the service, we invite you to stay for coffee, goodies and get to know some of the people who call Cornerstone home.

What time is the worship service?

Our services begin at 10:30 am each Sunday. They usually run about 75 minutes.

Do I have to give money?

We do take up an offering during the service but, as our guest, please do not feel obligated to give anything. Those who give money do so to support our church budget, our ministries in the community and our missions in other countries.

What do I do with my kids?

Our helpers are set up and excited to greet your children before the service even begins. Start by signing them in at the front table in the foyer. When you go to drop them off, you can meet their teacher and help them get settled in. For detailed information on our Cornerstone Kids programs.
